About this Event
Join Zesty Meyers—MassArt ’93 (Glass), co-founder of the radical B-Team glass performance group, and co-founder of R & Company Design Gallery in New York.
Meyers is a driving force in contemporary design, representing museum-caliber objects across all 3D media—glass, ceramics, sculptural furniture, jewelry, and lighting—while actively reshaping how objects are understood, valued, and collected. Through R & Company, he also plays a key role in advancing and stewarding Objects: USA, one of the most influential exhibitions in American craft history.
Operating at the intersection of making, performance, curation, and cultural influence, Meyers has fundamentally shifted the field—expanding what counts as an object, who defines it, and how it moves through culture.
Join Zesty for a high-energy talk and dynamic discussion that will challenge and expand how you think about handmade objects today. All 3D Programs are encouraged to attend.
