Free EventThe MassArt Department of Architecture invites you to join the Spring 2024 Tuesday Talks Speaker Series featuring Larry Borins, at 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 16 in person at the MassArt Design and Media Center's Huntington Studio. Borins will present the talk How the MassArt Campus came to be - A Public Construction Primer.
Larry Borins is a registered architect with a broad range of work experience in the building industry. A graduate of Cornell University he has been an architect, developer, contractor, and owner’s representative. Working as an owner’s representative, he has successfully managed all phases of the public construction process on school, housing, health care and academic projects across Massachusetts. From 2000 to 2006, Larry worked with the MassArt community to build the Artist’s Residence and develop & implement a campus wide building program. Accomplishments while at MassArt include the initial phase of three major building projects: Renovations to create a campus center at the Kennedy Building, The Design & Media Center, and the Tree House Residence.
