About this Event
This semester, the Office of Justice, Equity and Transformation's annual Thriving Classrooms workshop series will serve as a follow up to Dr. Tia Brown McNair’s visit in Fall ‘22 where she discussed her book, Becoming a Student-Ready College.
We invite all faculty and staff to join us in discussing how our departments can help advance student success by focusing on:
Shared responsibility among leadership
Leveraging resources
Designing an impactful ecosystem of campus and community partners, and
Empowering faculty and staff at all levels
You do not need to have read the book before attending the sessions, though doing so would be a great primer. We have a limited number of physical book copies in the JET office that we will hand out on a first come, first serve basis. Otherwise, you can access the e-book for free here.
Virtual sessions will be held from 10:30am –12:00pm on March 17, March 31st and April 14th.

Thriving Classrooms workshops are made possible through collaborations with campuswide partners. Click here to learn more about Thriving Classrooms and view past workshops (accessible with MassArt NetID and password).
