About this Event
March is Women's History Month–commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. Our first artist talks in the ‘Then & Now/Art & Life’ series dedicates the space for women of color to share their journeys and practices as artists.
The Alumni Leadership Council at MassArt has invited two Alumni of Color, Gloretta Baynes ('76 BFA Fashion Design) and Momoko Schafer ('16 BFA Glass), to showcase their art to the wider MassArt community on March 31st, 6pm EST. This session will be open to the wider Alumni community to attend, along with students, faculty, staff, and friends of MassArt.
We hope to reconnect with you all through Gloretta and Momoko’s extensive body of work, as we collectively reflect on how and what we are creating during these uncertain times as artists and dreamers.
Please REGISTER HERE by March 29.
(A Zoom link will be sent to all registrants the day of the event).
We look forward to seeing you there! Oh yes, it’s Ladies’ Night, meet Momoko and Gloretta Night 🎶
Thank you,
