Join us for February First Friday at MassArt x SoWa! Celebrate the opening of POST-TENSE, on view December 14, 2024 - February 9, 2025. 

POST-TENSE explores community, belonging, and displacement. The twelve artists included in the exhibition navigate these themes across artistic disciplines, and through their lived experiences. The artworks represent conceptions of place, both human-made and natural, as well as the people who dwell in these spaces. The exhibition is a testament to the importance of cultivating and sustaining community, while challenging our understanding of the structures that form our social fabric

POST-TENSE is curated by the students in the Fall 2024 cross-program graduate elective course Curatorial Practices, with collaborative support from course faculty Sam Toabe, and features twelve Boston-area artists.
