Join us for April First Friday at MassArt x SoWa! Celebrate the gallery’s eighth alumni curatorial project, border(less), on view March 9 - April 21, 2024.

Curated by Yana Nosenko (MFA '23 Photography), border(less) addresses the multifaceted nature of migration, exploring the experiences of individuals forced to leave their homes and negotiate the challenges of assimilation and adaptation. The exhibition centers on the struggles inherent in this process — finding a new place, navigating transitions, and blending into new environments. Collectively, the work of these ten featured artists seeks to spark conversation and reflection on the shared human experience of searching for home, connection, and belonging.
