Painting Together Quietly
Art Education and Office of Justice, Equity, and Transformation present: Residency with Bergman & Salinas
Arnheim Gallery | March 11–18
Bergman & Salinas are in residence at MassArt, collaborating with students, faculty, and the public to build a collective installation of ink-painted cardboard box walls in the Arnheim Gallery.
Using cardboard—an indicator of global consumer markets—and black ink—derived from soot and the carbon cycle—the project invites slow, shared painting as a way of thinking through material, labor, and care in times of crisis. No prior experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Thursday, March 12 | 4–6pm
