Welcome to MassArt! Whether you’re coming from another college or university or returning to school to finish your degree, we’re so glad you’re here. Transfer Orientation is designed just for you—offering support, info, and connection as you jump into your major and life at MassArt. Here’s what’s coming up:

Tuesday, September 2

• Check-in & Refreshments | 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  Start the day by checking in, grabbing a snack, and meeting fellow transfer students.

• Transfer Orientation Welcome | 12:00 PM – 12:15 PM
  Hear from President Grant, Provost Molife, and Vice President Zink as they welcome you to the MassArt community.

• Help Me Find My Classes!
  Navigate your class schedule with help from Primers and staff.

  • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM → Red, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Lavender, Light Pink, Maroon, Bronze

  • 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM → Orange, Lime, Teal, Royal Blue, Purple, Hot Pink, Silver

• Departmental Panel Q&A | 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
  Meet key campus departments including Career Development, Community Health & Well-being, Counseling, Student Engagement, Housing, International Ed, and more.

• Student Panel Q&A | 1:30 PM – 2:15 PM
  Ask questions and hear real experiences from current MassArt students who transferred just like you.

• Campus Tour or Help Me Find My Classes! | 2:15 PM – 2:45 PM
  Choose your own adventure—explore campus with a tour or get extra help navigating your schedule.

Friday, September 5

• Decorate Your Space | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  Add your personal touch to your new room or apartment with some DIY decorations! Supplies provided.
