DESCRIPTION:With the urban landscape as your canvas\, transform the texture
 s of the Fenway/Mission Hill neighborhood into art. Use tactile clay to cr
 eate temporary stamps or experiment with rubbings to translate the world i
 nto one-of-a-kind compositions in your sketchbook.* Come solo or with frie

 ontinue your creative journey this summer!\n\n \n\nWhat is stamp-making?\n
 By pressing clay against a textured surface you will create an imprint of 
 the pattern you are hoping to capture. Once you have captured the texture 
 in your temporary clay stamp\, you can apply ink to the clay and use it to
  transfer the pattern into your sketchbook. \n\n\nKnow Before You Go / Eve
 nt Details\n\nThis event will occur mostly outdoors and will involve walki
 ng or rolling to the nearby spaces in the Fenway/Mission Hill neighborhood
  within a 10 minute walk (.5 mile radius) from MAAM.\n\nThis event will st
 art and end at MassArt Art Museum (MAAM)\, located at 621 Huntington Avenu
 e. Restrooms\, water\, and locker storage will be available upon check-in\
 , however the exhibition galleries will not be open. After check-in at MAA
 M\, we will head outside.\n\nWe recommend wearing comfy shoes and clothing
  appropriate for hands-on artmaking with natural (and sometimes messy) mat
 erials.\n\n\nGoing\, Going\, Gone / Ticketing Notice\n\nThis event is free
  but advanced registration is required. This event will likely sell out–
 plan ahead and get those tickets in advance! Tickets will not be available
  on the evening of this event. \n\n\nRain Rain\, Go Away / Weather Notice\
 n\nSometimes the best laid plans are no match for mother nature. In the ev
 ent of heavy rain\, excessive heat\, or inclement weather\, this event wil
 l be cancelled by 12:00pm on the day of the event. Events may be reschedul
 ed or relocated indoors only as availability allows. Be on the lookout for
