 ves\, and natural elements foraged from the Fenway/Mission Hill neighborho
 od as you create one-of-a-kind Gelli plate monoprints. Embrace the process
  of printmaking\, layering\, and creative play to produce striking composi
 tions that document the beauty and diversity of the local landscape. \n \n
 \nWhat is Gelli Plate Printing?\n\nGelli Plate Printing is an accessible\,
  press-free method of printmaking. Using a soft\, gelatin-like plate (Gell
 i plate)\, layer ink and various textured objects to quickly pull vibrant\
 , unique\, and spontaneous monoprints onto paper.\n\n\nKnow Before You Go 
 / Event Details\n\nThis event will occur mostly outdoors and will involve 
 walking or rolling to the nearby greenspaces in the Fenway/Mission Hill ne
 ighborhood within a 10 minute walk (.5 mile radius) from MAAM. Artmaking w
 ill also occur on the Arne Glimcher Plaza\, directly in front of MassArt A
 rt Museum. \n\n \n\nThis event will start and end at MassArt Art Museum (M
 AAM)\, located at 621 Huntington Avenue. Restrooms\, water\, and locker st
 orage will be available upon check-in\, however the exhibition galleries w
 ill not be open. After check-in at MAAM\, we will head outside.\n\nWe reco
 mmend wearing comfy shoes and clothing appropriate for hands-on artmaking 
 with natural (and sometimes messy) materials.\n\n\nGoing\, Going\, Gone / 
 Ticketing Notice\n\nThis event is free but advanced registration is requir
 ed. This event will likely sell out–plan ahead and get those tickets in 
 advance! Tickets will not be available on the evening of this event. \n\n\
 nRain Rain\, Go Away / Weather Notice\n\nSometimes the best laid plans are
  no match for mother nature. In the event of heavy rain\, excessive heat\,
  or inclement weather\, this event will be cancelled by 12:00pm on the day
  of the event. Events may be rescheduled or relocated indoors only as avai
 lability allows. Be on the lookout for an email communication from MAAM.\n
