In a supportive environment, students learn verbal and physical self-defense skills that are useful in scenarios including verbal harassment, physical assaults, and attempted sexual assaults.
Skills taught are relevant to situations involving both strangers and familiar people.
IMPACT courses emphasize awareness and de-escalation skills to avert situations that require physical defense.
Physical and verbal skills taught are relevant to situations involving strangers and familiar people.
Taught by instructors who are part of or familiar with LGBTQ communities, this also includes strategies to address bias-related violence.
