The Office of Justice, Equity, & Transformation (JET) invites you to participate in an Inclusive Facilitation Training that is in service to the Anti-Racism Dialogues. As a facilitator, you are at the forefront of helping students, faculty, and staff to become more engaged and ultimately playing a major part in making our community a safe, equitable and inclusive space for all.
WHEN: Sat. Oct. 3, 10am-1pm & Sun. Oct. 4, 10am-1pm
WHAT: Participate in a two-day training presented by Dr. Liza Talusan on engaging conversations about diversity, racism, bias, privilege, and power. Following the training, students will have the opportunity to assess their readiness to apply facilitation skills for the Anti-Racism Dialogues at a later date.
Anti-Racism Dialogues commitments include:
- Attendance on both days of training
- Facilitation of two anti-racism dialogues (Dates TBD)
