 eased to welcome Lindsey White as a visiting artist of the Fall 2025 Photog
 raphy Lecture Series. Please join us in the Tower Auditorium at 2:00pm on T
 uesday\, October 7.\n\n \n\nLindsey White (b. Tulsa\, OK)  is an artist and
  curator in San Francisco. Currently\, she is the 2025 Arthur & Carol Kaufm
 an Goldberg Visiting Curator and Artist in Residence at the Hunter College 
 Art Galleries where her current exhibition\, Last Art School is on view now
  through November 22nd. White is launching an alternative art school with J
 on Rubin next summer at the Headlands Center for the Arts. She has exhibite
 d at venues such as San Francisco Museum of Modern Art\; San Francisco Arts
  Commission Gallery\; Sydhavn Station\, Copenhagen\; Bolinas Museum\, Calif
 ornia\; Contemporary Jewish Museum\, San Francisco\; ACME.\, Los Angeles\; 
 White Columns\, New York\; The Art Gym at Marylhurst University\, Oregon\; 
 Boca Raton Museum of Art\, Florida\; Locust Projects\, Miami\; San Francisc
 o International Airport Museum\; and Museum Bärengasse\, Zurich. White was 
 awarded SFMOMA's 2017 SECA Award and residencies at Headlands Center for th
 e Arts\, Sausalito\, California\, and Kala Art Institute\, Berkeley. White 
 was an Associate Professor and Photography Department Chair at the San Fran
 cisco Art Institute before it closed in 2022\, and Director of Contemporary
  Practices at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2023. White’s p
 rojects have been featured in the New York Times\, Frieze\, Art Forum\, The
  New Yorker\, KQED Arts\, SF Chronicle\, and Contemporary Art Daily. Additi
 onally\, her projects have been funded by the National Endowment for the Ar
 ts and Creative Work Fund. Her book\, What? Is? Art? is out on Colpa Press.
