The MassArt Department of Architecture welcomes Mark Daley as a guest of the Fall 2025 Tuesday Talks series who'll be speaking on the topic of Some (possible) Alternative Things to do with an Art/Architecture Degree. Tuesday, November 4 at 6:00pm in the Tower 10th floor triangle.

Mark Daley received his BFA in painting from UMass Amherst, M.Arch from MIT, and MLA in Landscape Architecture from Harvard. A visual thinker and consummate maker of cards, he is able to link forms, ideas, images, and patterns to create a coherent whole. He has served in the Peace Corps, won a travelling fellowship from Harvard, and taught a form language class at MIT with MK Smith.

He has worked in public housing for more than 25 years, was published in National Geographic for work completed in the Republic of Congo, started a school, and was possibly chased by elephants.

The Tuesday Talks series was first established in 2008 by MassArt's Architecture program. This visiting lecture series brings a wide range of design professionals who are engaged in creative endeavors to our community of students, staff, faculty and guests.

This event is free and open to the public.
