About this Event
The Entrepreneurship Lunch Series brings the founders of creative businesses to campus for roundtable lunchtime discussions. These talks are open to the whole MassArt community. Join us for free pizza and exciting discussions with the entrepreneurs behind some of the coolest businesses in Massachusetts.
For this lunch we'll be joined by J.Shia, MassArt alum and founder of MadHouse Motors. If you're interested in blending art and business or starting a business while you're still a student you won't want to miss this conversation.
More about J. and MadHouse Motors
Over a decade ago, J. established Madhouse Motors, a motorcycle repair shop specializing in antique and custom machines. Since its founding, J. has emerged as one of the world’s leading young motorcycle builders.
A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, J. designs and builds motorcycles that often break stereotypical motorcycle molds. Her builds challenge viewers to consider these machines not just as vehicles with an enhanced road performance, but as works of art. Over the past ten years, J. and the company have made international headlines and have gained a substantial amount of recognition for their work.
You can read about MadHouse in The New York Times, Boston Magazine, or at WBUR
