Join the MassArt Graduate Programs at MassArt x SoWa, for May First Friday! Celebrate Part II of the  2026 MFA Thesis Exhibition with the artists and the MassArt community on Friday, May 1 from 5-9pm. Curated by MassArt Art Museum Executive Director Lisa Tung and MassArt x SoWa Director Felicia Scott Flint, Part II of this year's MFA Thesis Exhibition is on view April 25 - May 17.

ON-CAMPUS MFA THESIS COMPONENT (Exhibition + Media Installation):

• The 2026 MassArt MFA Thesis includes a concurrent student-curated on-campus exhibition, Potential Space. Featuring the eleven 2026 MFA graduates in 2D/3D Studio Arts, Photography, and Film/Video, Potential Space is on view at the Patricia Doran Graduate Gallery   APRIL 27 – JUNE 5, with a reception (5-8pm) and special, one-night only, Media Installation in D309, on Thursday, May 7.

PUBLIC ARTIST TALKS

• The eleven featured 2026 Master of Fine Arts candidates will also present PUBLIC ARTIST TALKS on Thursday, May 7 at 2:00pm EST via Zoom and in the MassArt Screening Room 1.  REGISTER HERE.

THEATRICAL SCREENING

• Join us in viewing the works from the three Film/Video graduate candidates during a theatrical screening at the MFA Boston on May 8th!
