The MassArt Graduate Programs are thrilled to welcome Kelly Knight to the MFA Summer Lecture Series, as our first speaker of the 2024 summer program. Knight will present a visiting artist talk in the Design and Media Center Lecture Hall on Thursday, July 11 at 4:30pm.

Kelly Knight (she/her) is a multimedia artist based in Providence, RI. She earned her MFA in 3D Fibers from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, her BA in Creative Writing from Lesley University, and did her BFA studies in the Fibers program at Swain School of Design/UMass Dartmouth. She shows regularly in solo and group shows, and her work is in numerous private collections. She is the Interdisciplinary Low Residency MFA Program Director and Assistant Professor at MassArt.

The MFA Summer Lecture Series is an integral part of MassArt's Low-Residency MFA Program in Interdisciplinary Practice. In addition to their public talks, guest speakers meet with students for 1:1 studio visits / feedback sessions. All lectures are free, open to the broader MassArt community and the public, and presented both in person and on Zoom.
