About this EventAdd to calendar
The JET office will continue hosting a series of BIPOC community gatherings this spring. These gatherings are open to all students, faculty, staff and alumni (regardless of nationality) who identify as BIPOC and are an act of self care for our community. It is an opportunity for us to connect as human beings, check in with one another, support each other, and be together through these challenging times.
Audre Lorde reminds us: “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
Those who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), ALAANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab, and Native American) and multiracial are welcome to attend.
Every other Tuesday at 11:00am / 3:00pm / 6:00pm EST
Hosted by the Office of Justice, Equity and Transformation (JET)
