Bigger isn’t just better, it’s the reason these artists create. Big Deal is an exhibition that devotes itself to work that outscales, outweighs, and outgrows its creators. Featuring work that is physically larger or heavier than the artists themselves, the show celebrates excess, awe, and ambition. 

Curated by Galel Collins Estrada and Owen Blake, Big Deal brings together 32 student artists working across an array of mediums. From over one hundred feet of mulberry paper to metal sculptures weighing over five hundred pounds, each artist confronts scale as both a conceptual and physical challenge.
