Statement:
Geometry and wonder provide motive and motif: spirals, fractals, and flux. Fond of Staffordshire slipware and once a devoted Japanese apprentice, I now choreograph Momoyama with Postmodern. As if a Shino tea bowl or feathered vessel shared the stage with a Lucas Samaras “Reconstruction.” Respecting both the utilitarian and sculptural, what I midwife, whether serving a tour as tableware or otherwise, is intended to serve as a cairn.
