MassArt Visiting Lecturer and internationally-renowned pianist Paul-André Bempéchat will honor the birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven with a performance of four of the composer’s most beloved piano sonatas, including Moonlight Sonata (Op. 27, No. 2.), G Major (Op. 79), B-flat Major (Op. 22), and Appassionata (Op. 57). This concert is a fundraising benefit for MassArt's on-campus food insecurity resource, The Shelf.
The event will be performed live at the First Parish Church (located at 75 The Great Road in Bedford, MA) and also live-streamed. To receive the Zoom link for live streaming, please email MUSIC@UUBEDFORD.ORG.
All MassArt students gain free admission to the concert upon presentation of their current College ID cards.
Suggested Donations of $20 for Adults and $15 for Seniors/Students will be gratefully accepted at the door, and net proceeds will benefit First Parish and The Shelf.
