 mbient mode soundscape with large resonant gongs\, and other harmonic inst
 ruments in order to relax\, shift\, and de-stress. Participants will engag
 e in a meditative\, deep listening practice\, potentially initiating the R
 elaxation Response.\n\nDates & Times:\n\nTuesday\, March 31Monday\, April 
 13\n There will be two sessions hosted on each scheduled date.\n\nFirst se
 ssion starts at 11:00am Second session starts at 12:10pm\n Location:\nDesi
 gn Media Center (DMC)\nRoom D310 Sound Studio\, 3rd floor\n\nWhat you need
  to know/bring:\n\nBring a yoga mat\, blanket/pillow\, eye covering\, what
 ever you need to feel comfortable while lying down on the floor listening 
 to the sounds. There are chairs for those who prefer to sit.Arrive a few m
 inutes early to settle in.  Each session will last approximately 50 minute
 s.Once the event starts\, the door will be closed so as not to disturb par
 ticipants. Late attendees will be asked to wait for the next session to be
 gin.  \nNancy Aleo is a cross-discipline artist with a studio practice ran
 ging from mixed media drawing and painting\, ceramics\, to sound works and
  performances with large resonant gongs\, singing bowls\, and harmonious b
 ells\, incorporating Harmonic Therapies. Personal spiritual practices\, al
 ong with decades of travel and study in Mexico inform her work. Nancy is a
  current Professor in the Studio Foundation Department at MassArt. \n\nLea
