Learn about the job search in the age of AI! Applicant Tracking Systems, resume scanners, and AI-powered screening tools now decide who gets seen—and who gets filtered out—before a human ever looks at an application for a job or internship. This practical, hands-on workshop shows job seekers how to navigate these systems while maintaining their authenticity and uniqueness. Participants will learn how AI evaluates resumes and applications, how to use keywords to optimize a resume, how to tailor applications, how to avoid common automated rejection triggers, and how to format your experience so it ranks well while still sounding human.

In addition to the presentation, we will have 2 alumni to share their experiences. Alexandra Palmisano BFA ‘10 Fashion Design is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Talbots and will share her experience using these tools as a recruiter. Kristine Sanchez Henson BFA '09 Graphic Design recently successfully navigated a job search and will share the applicant experience.
