Understanding how to manage your studio or creative business is key to long term success. Join MassArt's Program Director for Creative Entrepreneurship, Sara Hartmann, she will offer you a peek into the classes and opportunities you can access while you are a student at MassArt including the Creative Economy Business Incubator, an initiative designed to support the development of artist-owned businesses. Students develop,  market test, and refine a business idea and  learn foundational principles of entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, and finance through practice and hands-on experience. Professional network building is emphasized and each team works with mentors and experts with experience in creative industries, entrepreneurship, or business management.
