At this year's Juneteenth celebration, MassArt's sparc! the ArtMobile will host an on-site art studio where you can make community quilt squares and other creations. Juneteenth is the oldest known observance commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. MassArt alumna and CACP's own Ekua Holmes ('77) will be one of two recipients of this year's Ralph F. Browne, Jr. Juneteenth Award for Exemplary Social Engagement. Please join us for dynamic speakers, music, dance, spoken word, face painting, community vendors, and refreshments. Fun for all ages!
