The 2026 MassArt Auction will take place on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. Both the Live and Silent Auctions will be posted on Bidsquare in the spring and open for a week-long period of bidding spanning from Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM through Sunday, April 12, 2026 2026 at 12:00 PM. All of the Auction artwork will be installed and available to view on campus by appointment during our public preview period

WHAT IS THE SILENT AUCTION?

The timed silent auction is automated and takes place solely online. The bidding for each lot is opened at a predetermined level at a set time and stays open over an extended period. A bidder’s identity is always kept confidential during the auction. In this timed auction, the three Silent sections are featured in a one-time online auction starting Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM, and ending on Sunday, April 12, 2026 2026 at 12:00 PM via massartauction.org/bid. 

“BUY NOW!” FEATURE

We are happy to offer a “BUY NOW!” feature for this year’s Silent Auction via massartauction.org/bid! The “Buy Now!” option will be available for all Silent Auction lots beginning on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM until Friday, April 10 at 12:00 PM. During this time, any Silent Auction lot may be purchased outright by paying 150% of its stated value. Artwork may be purchased by clicking “Buy Now” on a selected lot on Bidsquare and remitting payment of the issued invoice immediately. If payment is not received by Friday, April 10 at 12:00 PM, the buyer will lose the claim of the artwork, and it will become available for bidding for the remainder of the Silent Auction.
