Massachusetts College of Art and Design is hosting the 2024 Boston Printmakers Student Exhibition

The Boston Printmakers is pleased to announce its twelfth Student Print Exhibition from
September 23 -October 12, 2024, our first student exhibition since the interruption of the Covid
pandemic and are delighted that this exhibition will be hosted by the Massachusetts College of
Art and Design (MassArt).

From 390 entries, the Student Exhibition Team from the Boston Printmakers Executive Board
chose 209 prints, videos, printed 3D objects and artist’s books from 18 colleges and universities.
For many students, it is their first opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional setting. 

It is also a unique opportunity for the public to see the quality and breadth of student work
produced in fine art programs throughout New England.

The Boston Printmakers, an international association of printmakers from the US, Canada, Mexico
and the Caribbean, was founded seventy-five years ago by a group of printmaking students and
teachers at Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts to educate
the public about fine art printmaking and provide opportunities to exhibit original prints.
