Please join the Architecture Department for our weekly Tuesday Talks series, this week featuring Mike Riscica from Young Architects, presenting "Getting Started with the Architecture Exam."
Michael (Mike) Riscica founded and runs the website YoungArchitect.com. Since obtaining his architect license in 2014 he has been intensely focused at helping the next generation of architects be more successful at school, work, the architect exam and in life. This lecture is part of a 22 city speaking tour around America.
Getting Started with The ARE is all about beginning your journey toward being a licensed architect, including how to avoid pitfalls, and how to take first steps. I share valuable insights from my own failures and mistakes, as well as what I have learned by helping over 300 ARE Candidates get started on this process.
This lecture is very different from the ways that NCARB or other organizations get started with their ARE Lectures. It’s a real-world, truth-filled presentation that will help you start making progress with this exam.
Tuesday, February 13 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Design and Media Center, Lecture Hall
