PCE Lecture: Design To Renourish

PCE Thursday Night Lecture Series presents a lecture by graphic designer and MassArt instructor, Yvette Perullo.

Yvette Perullo is a Boston-based designer, educator, and author. She is co-founder and partner at Re-nourish (Re-nourish.org), an independent nonprofit organization that provides resources and tools to help advocate awareness and action for sustainable systems thinking in the graphic design community. Yvette’s recent book Design to Renourish: Sustainable Graphic Design in Practice addresses the real life challenges of working with clients to create responsible solutions by outlining various approaches, pitfalls, and real-world case studies.

Yvette received her MFA in Visual Communications Design from Purdue University and her MA degree in Graphic Design from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. She has lectured internationally on sustainable graphic design and as a design educator, Yvette focuses on integrating sustainability methodology into her courses. Yvette is the Lead Designer at Bartlett Interactive, an agency with a commitment to sustainability and triple bottom line business practices.
